As well as our regular clients, we create content on a project basis. We recently provided content for a major Discover England-funded project, The Explorer’s Road. Our brief was to supply 1,000-word features for 19 destinations along this 500km multi-stop touring route. We also created 120 profiles of businesses along the way. The project involved identifying, commissioning and co-ordinating the work of a team of 12 writers, editing, sub-editing and revising their copy, and liaising with the client to meet tight deadlines.
Other content projects have included creating editorial for the annual directories for Best Loved Hotels. Working closely with the client, we devised a creative approach, then executed the project by drawing on our strong contacts with some of the UK’s top travel writers. Our brief was to provide nine original features about different regions of the British isles, plus supplementary copy about what to do and see in each area.
